Corporate Office Supplies (COS) warrants their products to be free of defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period of 1 year. Our warranty obligation is to provide a replacement for a defective original part and/or replace the defected printer as a result of damage caused to the printer as a result of the defective product used. This is after we receive a proper request for warranty service.
“Proper request” means that we (as in “COS”) receive:
1. A photocopy of your Customer Invoice AND
2. A written request for warranty service that includes your name and phone number.
In the written request, list the product that you believe are defective and include the address where replacements should be delivered. After COS receives your request, an authorized representative will contact you to determine whether your claim is covered by warranty (also see “if a defective part is covered...” below). Before providing warranty service, COS will send out a qualified technician to determine if the problem is associated with its own product or other external causes.
